Book 'Porsche 356 No. 1 Roadster'

With his vision of the 356 “No. 1” Roadster, Ferry Porsche realises his dream of sporty driving. On June 8th, 1948, the car receives its general operating licence and thus advances to being the prototype for all Porsche sports cars today. The eventful history, that the car has experienced since its creation, tells of the beginnings of the brand, of the courage to break new ground, and represents the individuality of all Porsche customers. The “Number 1” remains an important brand ambassador in the Porsche Museum and at numerous events around the world to date.
